Deep C Hai Phong I Industrial Park. AREA: 541 hectares– Phase 1 Term: Until 2047.
Deep C Hai Phong I Industrial Park is the flagship project of the DEEP C Industrial Complex, spanning 3,400 hectares in Vietnam. Established on April 5, 1997, the park was initially known as the Dinh Vu Industrial Zone.
Located in Hong Phong and Bac Son Communes, An Duong District, Hai Phong City, the industrial park covers a total area of 541 hectares. Deep C Industrial Park was founded through a partnership between the Vietnamese government and an international investor consortium led by Rent-A-Port Group from Belgium. Since its establishment, Deep C Hai Phong I has transformed the Dinh Vu–Cat Hai Peninsula from swampland into a dynamic industrial hub, attracting over 90 investors from Japan, Korea, the U.S., Europe, and more, across diverse industries.
A unique highlight of Deep C Hai Phong I is its petrochemical zone and liquid cargo terminal. Investors in the petrochemical zone can directly use the liquid cargo terminal and pipeline racks for handling chemicals and petrochemical products. This infrastructure significantly reduces costs and resources compared to self-developing such systems. Currently, the petrochemical zone of Deep C hosts more than 30 clients specializing in areas like chemical storage and handling, lubricants, and LPG terminals, forming an energy hub that serves other clients within the park.
The liquid cargo terminal is designed to accommodate vessels of 10,000–20,000 DWT. Due to increasing investor numbers in the petrochemical zone and growing import-export demands, Deep C is expanding the capacity of its liquid cargo terminal at Deep C Hai Phong I.
Deep C Hai Phong I also provides ready-built factories and warehouses, offering investors a cost-effective solution to reduce initial investment. This helps accelerate construction timelines and minimizes risks when establishing manufacturing bases and entering the Vietnamese market.
Deep C Hai Phong I enjoys direct connectivity to Hai Phong International Gateway Port (Lach Huyen Deep-Sea Port), Cat Bi International Airport, and the coastal expressway linking northern coastal provinces. It is centrally located within the key infrastructure network of northern Vietnam.
Internal Traffic
The internal road system is divided into main roads and branch roads:
Power Supply
The park has three power sources: the national grid (220kV), a regional grid (110kV) for backup, and renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind turbines. Capacity: 626 MVA. The system includes a three-level protection mechanism with 24/7 monitoring, ensuring immediate isolation of faults and minimizing downtime risks.
Water Supply
Water is supplied with a capacity of 20,000 m³/day, ensuring a stable and sufficient supply for businesses.
Wastewater and Rainwater Drainage
Drainage systems run along the roads and are directed to a centralized treatment station. The system comprises underground reinforced concrete pipes, box culverts, backup reservoirs, and open canals with tidal gates.
Waste Management
Solid waste from factories is sorted, collected, and transported to the city’s centralized landfill.
Wastewater Treatment
Deep C Hai Phong I operates the only ISO 9001 and 14001-certified wastewater treatment plant among northern Vietnam’s industrial parks. Capacity: 6,000 m³/day (expandable to 12,000 m³/day). Wastewater is treated to exceed natural water quality standards before being discharged into rivers. Treated sludge (bacteria) is recycled, and treated water is reused for irrigation.
Deep C Liquid Cargo Terminal
The liquid cargo terminal accommodates vessels of 10,000–20,000 DWT. Deep C is expanding its capacity to serve companies in the petrochemical sector. The terminal includes:
Telecommunications
Deep C offers investors flexible telecommunications service provider options through a one-stop-shop model, ensuring reliable connectivity without requiring additional infrastructure when switching providers.
Deep C Hai Phong I supports a wide range of industries, from general manufacturing to petrochemicals and light industries.
Located in An Duong District, Region I, the current minimum wage for Region I is VND 4,420,000/month.
Customs Services
Customs offices are located near the industrial park.
Banking
Banks include Oceanbank, Vietcombank, BIDV, PG Bank, Seabank, Vietinbank, Techcombank, and more.
Postal Services
Delivery services are provided by TDT Express, VNPT, DHL, FedEx, TNT, offering door-to-door shipping.
Public Transportation
In early 2020, Deep C introduced a shared bus service within the industrial park, a first in Hai Phong, ensuring safe and convenient transportation for employees.
Fire Safety
The park is equipped with fire hydrants, a looped underground water supply network, and a pumping system with 5-7 bar pressure and a capacity of 480 m³/hour.
Security
24/7 security services are provided.
Residential Facilities
Deep C Hai Phong I is near residential areas, facilitating convenient living and commuting for experts and workers.
