Overview
Minh Quan Industrial Park is a key investment attraction in Yen Bai Province. Initially planned to cover 112 ha, the park’s area was adjusted to 107.887 ha (a reduction of 4.113 ha) following Decision No. 02/QD-UBND issued by Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee on January 4, 2021.
Funded by the state budget, the park’s technical infrastructure is under construction to support investors in production and business activities. Additionally, Yen Bai’s advantages include extensive forest coverage and natural resources, making it suitable for industries such as wood processing, mineral exploitation, and construction materials manufacturing. Investors benefit from affordable land and infrastructure rents, as well as solid ground conditions, which reduce construction costs for factory buildings.
Location
The park is situated along National Highway 2C, providing a strategic geographical location as the gateway for trade in Tuyen Quang Province and bordering Vinh Phuc Province.
Infrastructure
Internal Roads:
- Two-lane internal roads and two four-lane main roads accommodate large vehicles.
Electricity:
- Stable power supply with specifications of 110 KV/35 KV – 20 MVA.
Public Lighting:
- The road lighting system is independent of residential electricity and installed along transportation routes.
Water Supply:
- Supplied by the industrial park’s water plant, with a capacity of 4,300 m³/day, meeting domestic and production demands.
Drainage Systems:
- Stormwater drainage is designed to flow along internal roads into channels around the industrial park.
- Wastewater drainage is centralized, directing wastewater to the park’s treatment plant.
Waste Management:
- Investors contract with professional waste treatment service providers.
Wastewater Treatment:
- Wastewater from factories and residential areas is processed at the centralized treatment plant, with a capacity of 2,000 m³/day, before being discharged into the environment.
Telecommunications:
- Modern, internationally standardized telecommunications systems facilitate seamless domestic and international communication.
