On December 30, 2010, the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh Province issued Decision No. 2495/QD-UBND approving the detailed planning of Nam Luong Son Industrial Park at a 1/500 scale in Luong Son District, Hoa Binh Province. The industrial park covers an area of 200 hectares, with 150 hectares designated for industrial land. The total investment is approximately VND 600 billion. The industrial park primarily focuses on the production of building materials.

Nam Luong Son Industrial Park is invested by An Thinh Hoa Binh Company. It is strategically located with easy access to major economic zones like Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh. The park is expected to focus on industries such as agricultural and forestry product processing, building material production, machinery and electronics assembly, consumer goods processing, and export, all while minimizing environmental pollution.

The industrial park is divided into two investment phases:

• Phase 1 (2011-2015): Complete the infrastructure investment for Phase 1, covering 150 hectares, create 110 hectares of land with infrastructure, and attract investments to fill approximately 85% of the industrial land with infrastructure.
• Phase 2 (2016-2020): Complete the infrastructure for the entire industrial park and attract investments to fill 100% of the industrial land area.

The park has fully integrated infrastructure, including a wastewater treatment plant and a reliable electricity system. It has attracted many companies, including several foreign direct investment (FDI) firms from Japan, South Korea, and India, in telecommunications, textiles, steel, machinery, automotive parts, and aluminum-glass industries. The industrial park is now nearly fully occupied.
