General Introduction
Thuan Yen Industrial Park is one of the first four industrial parks established in Quang Nam Province. It is included in the list of national industrial parks approved by the Government under Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg dated August 21, 2006. The park has a total planned area of 230 hectares, with Phase I covering 62 hectares. The Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee assigned Construction and Installation Company No. 3 (now Vinaconex 25 JSC) as the investor for infrastructure construction and business operations. Thuan Yen Industrial Park also functions as a satellite park for the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Industrial Zone.
Location
Thuan Yen Industrial Park is located in Tam Dan Commune, about 2 km west of Tam Ky Town Center. It lies adjacent to National Highway 1A and the North–South Railway line.
Infrastructure
Internal Transportation
Main roads: 27 meters wide with 4 lanes
Branch roads: 19.5 meters wide with 2 lanes
Power Supply
Electricity is supplied from the national grid via a 150 kV substation, ensuring a stable power supply for the industrial park.
Public Lighting
The street lighting system is designed separately from the residential power grid and installed along the park’s main roads.
Water Supply
Water is supplied by the Tam Ky Water Plant, with a capacity of 20,000 m³/day.
Drainage (Stormwater & Wastewater)
Stormwater and wastewater systems are separated. Rainwater is discharged through the park’s dedicated drainage channels.
Solid Waste Management
Solid waste is collected at a central transfer station, sorted at the source, and transported to treatment facilities.
Wastewater Treatment
The park applies national standards for wastewater treatment, including QCVN 25:2009/BTNMT, QCVN 02:2012/BTNMT, QCVN 07:2009/BTNMT, and QCVN 30:2012/BTNMT.
Telecommunications
International-standard telecommunications systems are in place, including VNPT fiber-optic infrastructure, providing high-speed data, communication, and domestic/international postal services.
