Overview
Ba Thien I Industrial Park (Phase 1) was approved by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 1107/QD-TTg on August 21, 2006. The total approved planning area was 327 hectares, located in Ba Hien and Thien Ke Communes, Binh Xuyen District. The infrastructure investment and development project initially received its investment certificate in 2007, with Compal Vietnam Infrastructure Management and Development Co., Ltd. as the first investor.
At its establishment, Ba Thien I Industrial Park was one of the largest industrial zones in Vinh Phuc Province, expected to lead the province’s industrial economy. However, due to prolonged stagnation, the investment license was revoked on November 2, 2015.
On April 6, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 547/QD-TTg approving the investment policy for the construction and business operation of Ba Thien I Industrial Park (Phase 1). The project was reassigned to HDTC Corporation as the new investor. With a revised area of 247.357 hectares, the new operational term is 49 years from December 20, 2018.
The groundbreaking of Ba Thien I Industrial Park (Phase 1) marks a significant milestone for HDTC Corporation’s development while contributing to the transformation of Binh Xuyen District and the province’s industrial landscape. The project creates jobs for local labor, attracts domestic and foreign investment, and supports the robust economic development of Vinh Phuc Province.

Ba Thien I Industrial Park has a prime location with excellent connectivity to nearby regions through various transportation systems:
- Road: Trans-Asia Highway (Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway), National Highways 2 and 18
- Railway: Hanoi – Vinh Phuc – Lao Cai – China rail route
- Air: Noi Bai International Airport
- Sea: Dinh Vu Port (Hai Phong) and Cai Lan Port (Quang Ninh)
