Overview

Bim Son Industrial Park (IP) was established under Decision No. 1471/2005/QD-UBND dated June 2, 2005, approving the detailed planning. Located in the northern part of Thanh Hoa Province along National Route 1A, this IP is strategically positioned with the North-South railway passing through it. Adjacent to Bim Son Town, the IP benefits from convenient access to electricity, water, transportation, and services. It is also well-situated to attract a skilled, low-cost labor force while requiring lower infrastructure investments compared to other IPs in northern Vietnam.

After adjustments, the total area of Bim Son IP is 367 ha, divided into two zones: Area A and Area B.
On February 8, 2013, Thanh Hoa Province authorized Phuc Hung Architecture JSC as the investor for Area A of Bim Son IP, named Kovipark Bim Son. The project operates under Investment Certificate No. 26221000138, covering a total area of 145 ha.

As a multi-sector industrial park, Kovipark Bim Son is considered one of the most promising IPs, offering a significant opportunity and attractive destination for domestic and international investors.

Location

Kovipark Bim Son IP is situated along National Route 1A within Bac Son Ward, Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province, providing excellent geographic advantages.

Internal Roads

    • Main roads: 30–40 m wide, constructed with heavy-duty asphalt concrete.

    • Branch roads: 20.5 m wide.

    • The park is powered by the national grid with a capacity of 10,000 kW/35 kV, fully meeting operational needs.

Public Lighting

    • Street lighting is independent of residential power and installed along all traffic routes.

Water Supply

    • Water is sourced from the Bim Son Water Plant, with a total supply capacity of 8,400 m³/day-night.

Drainage Systems

    • Both rainwater and wastewater drainage systems are located along roads and directed to a central treatment facility.

Waste Management

    • Solid waste from factories is sorted, collected, and transported to designated disposal sites in accordance with local regulations.

Wastewater Treatment

    • The park features an underground wastewater treatment plant with an initial capacity of 1,500 m³/day-night (Phase 1).

Telecommunications

    • Comprehensive telecommunications services include telephone subscriptions, broadband ADSL, and fiber optic connectivity.

Supported Industries

Kovipark Bim Son IP primarily attracts industries such as:

  • Agricultural and forestry product processing
  • Machinery assembly, maintenance, and high-tech industries
  • Textile, garment, and packagingCal packaging manufacturing

Labor costs

Located in Bim Son Town, Zone III, the minimum monthly wage for the area is currently 3,430,000 VND.
