Overview

Bim Son Industrial Park (IP) was established under Decision No. 1471/2005/QD-UBND on June 2, 2005, approving its detailed master plan. Located along the North-South Railway, the IP benefits from a strategic location near Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province. Its advantages include robust electricity and water supply, convenient transportation, and accessible services. Labor is skilled, while land and infrastructure investment costs are significantly lower than in other northern Vietnam IPs.

The total adjusted area of Bim Son IP is 367 ha, divided into two zones: Zone A and Zone B. Zone B, with a total area of 222 ha, is developed in two phases:

  • Phase 1: 120 ha
  • Phase 2: 102 ha

Zone B falls within Bac Son and Ba Dinh wards of Bim Son Town and is managed by HUD4 Investment and Construction JSC.

Location

Situated in northern Thanh Hoa Province along National Route 1A, Bim Son IP (Zone B) is only 30 km from Thanh Hoa City. With its prime geographical location and multi-industry capacity, it is considered a potential IP and an attractive investment destination for domestic and international businesses.

Infrastructure

Internal Roads

    • Main roads: 32.5 m wide.

    • Branch roads: 26.5 m wide.

    • A 4 km dedicated railway connects Bim Son Station to the specialized station of Bim Son Cement Factory.

Electricity Supply

    • Power sources: 22KV, 35KV, and a 110KVA substation with a capacity of 40x40MVA.

    • Stable 24/7 electricity supply, even during peak seasons, meeting customized needs.

    • Total electricity demand of the IP: approximately 37,650 KVA.

    • Street lighting is designed separately from residential power systems and installed along all internal roads.

    • Water is sourced from Bim Son Water Plant, with a total supply capacity of 4,000 m³/day-night.

Drainage Systems

    • Rainwater and wastewater systems are installed along roads, directing flow to the IP’s central treatment facility.

Waste Management

    • Solid waste is sorted, collected, and transported to designated disposal sites in accordance with local regulations.

Wastewater Treatment

    • A centralized underground wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 3,200 m³/day-night ensures environmental compliance.

Telecommunications

    • Comprehensive services, including broadband ADSL, fiber optics, and telephony, are available within the IP.

Bim Son IP (Zone B) primarily targets industries such as:
