Overview
Do Son Industrial Park (IP) was established under License No. 1953/GP issued by the Ministry of Planning and Investment on June 26, 1997, and officially commenced operations on May 13, 2004. The first phase of the park covers 150 hectares, comprising 100 hectares designated for industrial use and 50 hectares for high-tech zones.
The IP is a joint venture between Asia Glorious Development Limited (Hong Kong) and the Hai Phong City People’s Committee, with a total investment of USD 75 million (70% from Hong Kong, 30% from Vietnam). This is the only industrial park in Northern Vietnam with investment from Hong Kong.
With synchronized and modern infrastructure, Do Son IP provides comprehensive utilities to enterprises, attracting over 50 companies from countries such as the USA, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
Location
Do Son Industrial Park is located in the southeast of Hai Phong City, spanning parts of Ngoc Xuyen and Do Son Wards in Do Son District, as well as Tan Thanh Ward in Duong Kinh District.
The park occupies a strategic position in the economic hub of Northern Vietnam, serving as a vital traffic intersection and holding significance for the socio-economic development, security, and national defense of the region and the entire country.
Infrastructure
Internal Traffic
- Main Roads: Width of 34 meters, paved with concrete asphalt to Vietnamese standards.
- Branch Roads: Width of 21.5 meters.
Electricity Supply
- High-voltage substation (110kV) and 22kV power lines dedicated to serving enterprise needs.
Water Supply
- Water is supplied by the Song He Water Plant with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters/day.
- Quality meets Ministry of Health standards (TC505/BYT). Groundwater is also available for cost-saving.
Drainage Systems
- Rainwater: Collected and drained into local rivers via a network of pipes.
- Wastewater: Treated at the centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 1,200 cubic meters/day, meeting international standards before discharge into the city’s drainage system.
Waste Management
- Solid and industrial waste collection and treatment services are provided by the city’s licensed waste treatment plants.

- Modern communication systems providing full postal and telecommunication services.
