Overview
Dong Mai Industrial Park is located in Dong Mai Ward, Quang Yen Town, Quang Ninh Province. The industrial park enjoys a prime location near two of the largest seaports in northern Vietnam: Dong Mai Port and Hai Phong Port. It was established under Decision No. 2267/QD-UBND dated July 14, 2008, by the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee. The investor is Viglacera Infrastructure Development Investment Company, with a total area of 168ha and an investment capital of 1,200 billion VND.
Dong Mai Industrial Park is developed as a clean industrial park, ensuring no environmental pollution. Investors here are supported with services such as customs, banking, healthcare, postal services, and particularly Dong Mai Urban Area, a 9.1ha residential area for workers wishing to live on-site.
In 2019, Dong Mai Industrial Park (Viglacera) successfully attracted Foxconn Technology Group, the world’s largest enterprise in electronics, IT, and computing.
Location
The industrial park is situated along National Highway 18, extending from Hanoi to Quang Ninh, directly connected to the Hai Phong – Ha Long Expressway via an interchange 12km away. This shortens the distance from the industrial park to Hanoi and Hai Phong Port.

Internal Transportation
Modern internal roads are divided into main and branch roads, ensuring smooth movement.
Power System
Electricity is supplied from the national grid through a 110/22KV transformer station with a capacity of 2x25MVA.
Water System
The water plant within the industrial park has a capacity of 6,500m³ per day.
Wastewater and Stormwater Drainage System
Separate drainage systems for stormwater and wastewater have been constructed. Wastewater from factories is pre-treated at production sites to meet regulatory standards before being discharged into the industrial park’s common drainage system and directed to the central wastewater treatment plant.
Waste Management
Factories in the industrial park sign contracts for waste classification, collection, and transportation to prevent environmental pollution. Exhaust gases are filtered through systems that meet national standards before release into the environment.
Wastewater Treatment
The industrial park’s wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 4,800m³ per day.
Communication System
The industrial park provides modern, international-standard broadband ADSL services.
