Dong Van I Industrial Park, Ha Nam Province. Area: 209 hectares – Term: Until 2053
Dong Van I Industrial Park is the first industrial park in Ha Nam Province to be developed and constructed. With modern and synchronized infrastructure and utilities, it is managed by the Ha Nam Provincial Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company.
The industrial park is located in Dong Van Town, Duy Tien District, Ha Nam Province, with an approved total area of 138 hectares, and an additional 71 hectares in its eastern expansion phase. Dong Van I Industrial Park is designed as a multi-industry park that utilizes advanced, environmentally friendly technologies that meet international standards.
Since its establishment, Dong Van I Industrial Park has proven its appeal by attracting numerous domestic and international investors. To date, the park hosts 94 projects, including 46 FDI projects (from South Korea, Japan, Singapore, etc.) with a total investment of USD 668.7 million and 48 DDI projects with a total investment of VND 4,632.99 billion.
On March 22, 2021, the Prime Minister issued Decision 411/QĐ-TTg to approve the investment in the eastern expansion of Dong Van I Industrial Park in Bach Thuong Commune, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province. The expansion, covering 71 hectares, is led by the Plastics Chemical Joint Stock Company.
Dong Van I Industrial Park has a flat terrain and stable geology, making it suitable for industrial and commercial development. It is traversed by National Highway 1A and the North-South Railway, with Dong Van Railway Station situated just 2 km away. The Cau Gie – Ninh Binh Expressway, which passes through Hanoi, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh, also runs alongside the park, facilitating smooth transportation and goods flow.
From Dong Van, National Highway 38 and Yen Lenh Bridge provide quick access to Hung Yen, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh. Additionally, the park lies adjacent to several major roads, including National Highways 21A, 21B, and 38.
Internal Roads:
Main roads are 36 meters wide, and branch roads are 24 meters wide, capable of accommodating container trucks and heavy vehicles.
Electricity System:
Continuous and stable power supply from the 110KV high-voltage line near the park’s southern boundary.
Public Lighting:
Street lighting operates independently of residential electricity and is installed along the main roads.
Water Supply:
Clean water is supplied directly to the fences of individual enterprises.
Drainage:
Separate drainage systems for rainwater and wastewater are in place. Rainwater is collected and discharged into nearby rivers, while wastewater is treated at the park’s treatment plant.
Waste Management:
Factories contract with specialized units to classify, collect, and transport waste to ensure no environmental pollution.
Wastewater Treatment:
All industrial and domestic wastewater must meet at least Level C standards before entering the park’s centralized treatment system, which then processes it to meet government regulations.
Telecommunications:
International standard telecommunications infrastructure provides comprehensive communication services for domestic and international needs.
