Gia Binh 2 Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 128/QD-UBND issued by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province on April 12, 2021. The industrial park is planned across four communes: Nhan Thang, Thai Bao, Binh Duong, and Van Ninh in Gia Binh District, Bac Ninh Province. The infrastructure development of the park is invested by Hanaka Group Joint Stock Company with a capital of VND 3,956.8 billion. The objective of Gia Binh 2 Industrial Park is to develop modern, clean industries, with a well-organized technical infrastructure to attract investors and advanced technology projects while ensuring no environmental pollution.

Administrative and service facilities are planned along the service road of National Highway 17; a central green park provides the industrial park with a harmonious landscape. Industrial land plots have diverse sizes, with larger plots located near Provincial Road 282B. Once operational, Gia Binh 2 Industrial Park is expected to be a prominent project contributing to the completion of industrial and economic clusters. This aligns with the socio-economic development plan of Bac Ninh Province approved for 2020, with a vision toward 2030.

Since its establishment, the investor has worked with local authorities to complete related procedures per the schedule as follows:

  • Q4/2021 – Q1/2022:Investment preparation and commencement.
  • Q4/2021 – Q2/2022:Land clearance and compensation.

  • By Q4/2026:Full occupancy of industrial land plots.

Infrastructure

Internal transportation
The two main axes have a standard cross-section width of 42m, including:

    • A main road running Southeast-Northwest connecting from Nhan Thang commune road to National Highway 17 and Provincial Road 282B into the industrial park center.
    • A main road running Northeast-Southwest connecting National Highway 17 into the industrial park center and Gia Binh District’s main road as per the planning.

Power system
The lighting power supply is separately designed from the residential power supply, with streetlights installed along the internal roads.

Public lighting system
The public lighting network is independently designed from the living electricity network and installed along the transportation routes.

Water system
A water treatment plant with a capacity of 9,500m³/day and night is planned, sourcing water from the Duong River.

Wastewater and rainwater drainage system
Separate drainage systems are planned for rainwater and wastewater, with pipelines installed along the roads. Circular reinforced concrete or asphalt pipelines with diameters of D400-D800mm are used.

Waste treatment
Waste in the industrial park is segregated at the source in each factory. Hazardous and non-hazardous waste is classified and transported to centralized treatment facilities according to regulations.

Wastewater treatment
A wastewater treatment plant (using mechanical, chemical-physical, and biological methods in a closed system with odor collection and treatment) is planned with a capacity of approximately 6,700m³/day and night. Treated water will meet Column A-QCVB40:2011/BTNMT standards before being discharged into the environment.

Communication system
The central communication station is located in the industrial park’s central administration area, fully equipped to meet communication needs for the park’s operations.
