Hanssip Industrial Park – Hanoi | Area: 640ha – Term: 2060
HANSSIP South Hanoi Supporting Industrial Park was approved by the Vietnamese Government with the goal of being the first specialized supporting industrial park in Vietnam and the desire for HANSSIP to become a successful model to create momentum for the development of the country’s supporting industry. In Document No. 1150/TTg-KTN dated July 6, 2010, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung agreed to establish the SOUTH HANOI SUPPORTING INDUSTRIAL PARK (HANSSIP) on the basis of expanding and converting the Dai Xuyen industrial cluster and in Document No. 7119/UBND-CT, the Hanoi People’s Committee assigned N&G Corp to implement the HANSSIP project located in Dai Xuyen commune, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi capital.
The scale of the industrial park is 640 hectares. HANSSIP will be planned to be combined with a complex urban service area, ensuring that experts, workers and their families have a place to eat, live and work that is linked to the long-term development of businesses.
HANSSIP will be a complex of industry, urban-service, logistics, commercial center, bank, medical, school, … and is the key driving force to build Phu Xuyen-Phu Minh satellite city according to the planning of Hanoi Capital with a vision to 2030. HANSSIP will be a “golden address” for businesses to participate in investing in production and business development, bringing prosperity to the homeland, the country and to each business itself. Currently, phase 1 has completed infrastructure with a total area of over 90 hectares; including industrial land area for building factories, factories, and urban service areas, commercial centers, logistic areas, and worker apartments adjacent to the industrial park.
After 3 years of very difficult site clearance, by 2013, the project had basically had the ground to start construction of technical infrastructure according to the approved design and planning. By the end of 2018 and early 2019, the project investor had completed the construction of the infrastructure.
According to information from the investor, HANSSIP Industrial Park has signed land lease agreements with a number of international investors in the fields of high technology and supporting industries from Korea and Japan.
HANSSIP Industrial Park is strategically located at the southern gateway of Hanoi capital, between two major traffic routes of Vietnam: Phap Van – Cau Gie expressway and National Highway 1A. According to the general planning of Hanoi capital to 2030, vision 2050, Phu Xuyen is one of 5 satellite cities. HANSSIP is located in the center of Phu Xuyen district, so the development of HANSSIP will create the driving force to develop Phu Xuyen into a modern urban area in the future.
The modern internal traffic system is reasonably designed to facilitate the movement of vehicles to each plot of land easily and conveniently.
Hanssip has a 35kV main line of the region passing through the industrial park. In addition, according to the plan, Vietnam Electricity Group will invest in building a 110kV transformer station in the industrial park, serving the needs of the entire industrial park and urban area here. The transmission system is located underground along the internal traffic routes in the industrial park.
The street lighting network is designed separately from the domestic power supply system, arranged along the traffic routes.
Hanssip has a water plant in phase 1 with a capacity of 3,500m3/day and night, ensuring to fully meet the clean water needs of all enterprises in the industrial park. The water pipe system is connected to the foot of the fence of the plots.
The rainwater and wastewater drainage system (industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater) are built separately. Rainwater is collected through the sewer system and discharged into the river. Wastewater is collected at the industrial park’s centralized wastewater treatment plant.
Solid waste from factories will be classified, collected on site and transported to a transfer station in the industrial park for collection before being transported elsewhere for treatment.
The wastewater treatment plant in phase 1 has a capacity of 3,000m3/day and night, using a biological treatment system. Wastewater is locally treated at factories to meet minimum water level B standards (QCVN-40/2011) before being discharged into the industrial park’s general wastewater system. It will then be further treated to meet standards prescribed by the Vietnamese government.
The telecommunications system meets international standards and is always available to meet the needs of communication, high-speed data transmission and domestic and international postal services. The underground fiber optic cable system is directly connected to the fence of each enterprise.
