Overview
Hoang Mai 2 Industrial Park, along with Nghi Son Economic Zone, is envisioned as the industrial hub of Southern Thanh Hoa – Northern Nghe An, following the Southern Thanh – Northern Nghe An planning orientation approved by the Government in Decision No. 847/TTg dated October 10, 1997, and Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo dated July 30, 2013, on development directions and tasks for Nghe An Province until 2020.
The detailed construction planning for Hoang Mai 2 Industrial Park was approved by the People’s Committee of Nghe An Province in Decision No. 2943/QD-UBND-DT dated August 7, 2012. Located in Quynh Vinh Commune, Hoang Mai Town, Nghe An Province, the industrial park covers a total area of 343.69 hectares.
On July 27, 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on infrastructure investment for Hoang Mai 2 Industrial Park was signed between the People’s Committee of Nghe An Province and KOVINET Company from South Korea, with a scale of 343 hectares and a total investment of VND 1,500 billion.
Due to KOVINET’s withdrawal, Hoang Thinh Dat Company is expected to take over the project. Hoang Thinh Dat Company has signed an MoU with the People’s Committee of Nghe An Province and is urgently completing investment procedures for the project.
Location
Prime Location:
Hoang Mai 2 Industrial Park is conveniently located near National Highway 1A and the Trans-Vietnam Railway, adjacent to Southeast Asian countries, and close to international ports capable of accommodating ships from 50,000 to 70,000 tons and Vinh International Airport. These favorable factors make it highly attractive to investors.
Infrastructure
Internal Traffic System:
The internal traffic system is well-designed for smooth transportation throughout the industrial park. The central road is 30 meters wide, and branch roads are 21 meters wide, constructed with asphalt concrete.
Power Supply System:
The power source is drawn from a 110KV line located 4 km east of the park, with a TR-TG substation (1×40 MVA) within the park, using underground cables to deliver power to factory premises.
Public Lighting System:
The street lighting network is separate from the power supply system, running along the main traffic routes.
Water Supply System:
Water for factories in the park is sourced from:
Hoang Mai Water Supply Co., Ltd. with a capacity of 80,000 m³/day.
An on-site clean water plant with a capacity of 12,000 m³/day.
Drainage System:
The rainwater drainage system is separated from the wastewater system, discharging rainwater into the park’s drainage channels (8-15 meters wide), leading to Vuc Mau Lake.
Waste Treatment:
Solid Waste: Collected at the transfer station, sorted at the source, and transported to the treatment area.
Wastewater: Collected through pipelines (U.PVC pipes DN250 to DN600) and treated in a three-stage biological treatment lake (capacity 120,000 m³) before being discharged into the environment.
Telecommunications System:
The telecommunications network is connected to the Hoang Mai Central Post Office, ensuring reliable and modern communication services, including international calling, high-speed internet, and video conferencing.
