Overview
Khai Quang Industrial Park, established in 2003, is located in Khai Quang Ward, Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province. Initially developed from a 52-hectare industrial cluster hosting 13 enterprises, the park has expanded five times to reach a total area of over 262.16 hectares. The infrastructure of the industrial park is managed by Vinh Phuc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company.
The park is designed as a multi-sector industrial park with high-tech, environmentally friendly facilities that comply with international standards. Thanks to its complete infrastructure, strategic location, and favorable investment policies, Khai Quang Industrial Park has become an attractive destination for domestic and international investors.
Currently, the park accommodates over 80 investment projects, including 11 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects with a total capital of over VND 690 billion and 69 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total capital exceeding USD 854 million. These projects have created employment for over 40,000 workers, significantly contributing to the socio-economic development of Vinh Phuc Province.
Location
Khai Quang Industrial Park benefits from a strategically advantageous location, surrounded by natural features such as Trong Mountain to the northeast and a 6-hectare regulating lake, creating a harmonious “mountain-backed, water-facing” feng shui position.
The park serves as the gateway to Vinh Yen City, intersecting with National Highway 2 and the Noi Bai–Lao Cai railway line. Its central position within the Northern Key Economic Region ensures seamless connectivity to major economic centers and transport networks, including Provincial Road 312 leading to Dai Lai, Huong Canh Town, and Hanoi.
Infrastructure
Internal Roads
The park’s roads are rationally designed, with widths ranging from 15 to 31 meters, divided into two to four lanes. All roads are paved with asphalt or reinforced concrete.
Electricity System
Electricity is supplied from the national grid via a 220/110KV transformer station, ensuring stable and reliable energy.
Public Lighting
The public lighting system operates independently of residential electricity supply and is installed along main traffic routes within the park.
Water Supply
Clean water is sourced from the Quang Minh Water Plant, which has a capacity of 14,000 cubic meters per day. Continuous 24/7 water supply is guaranteed to all factories.
Drainage System
- Stormwater Drainage:Collected via a network of drains and discharged into nearby rivers.
- Wastewater Drainage:Wastewater is directed to the industrial park’s central treatment plant.
Waste Management
Factories are required to segregate and contract third-party services for the collection and transportation of solid waste to ensure environmental protection.
Wastewater Treatment
The centralized wastewater treatment facility employs aerobic biological methods using activated sludge, with a processing capacity of 2,000 cubic meters per day.
Telecommunications
High-quality telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic connectivity, is provided by leading service providers such as VNPT, Viettel, and FPT Telecom, ensuring global connectivity.
