Overview

Le Mon Industrial Park (IP) is the first centralized industrial park in Thanh Hoa Province, established by the Prime Minister under Decision No. 186/1998/QD-TTg on September 25, 1998. Subsequently, Decision No. 1396/QD-TTg dated October 29, 2001, amended some provisions of the earlier decision.

Located in Quang Hung Ward, Thanh Hoa City, Le Mon IP is designed as a multi-sector industrial park that employs high technology, adheres to international standards, and is environmentally friendly.

Currently, the infrastructure of Le Mon IP has been synchronously and nearly fully developed. Approved project components have been mostly completed. The industrial park has attracted 34 investment projects, creating jobs for approximately 24,000 workers. Its occupancy rate has reached 94%.

Location

Le Mon Industrial Park is located in the eastern area of Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa Province, 5 km from National Highway 1A. This location offers convenient transportation for economic activities and goods transportation.

Infrastructure

Internal Roads

    • The internal road system is divided into main roads and branch roads.

    • Main roads: Width of 39 m.

    • Branch roads: Width of 23 m.

Power Supply

    • Electricity is supplied to the industrial park from a 110/35/22 kV substation with a capacity of 40 MVA.

    • High-voltage power lines run along the internal road system within the industrial park.

Public Lighting System

    • The road lighting network is separate from the residential electricity supply and is located along the traffic routes.

Water Supply

    • Clean water is provided with a capacity of 5,000 m³/day-night by the water supply plant.

    • Water is delivered to factory fences through a pipeline system meeting international standards.

Wastewater and Rainwater Drainage System

    • Drainage systems are arranged along the roads, leading to the park’s treatment station.

    • Pipeline diameter ranges from D600 mm to D800 mm, employing an automatic drainage system.

Waste Management

    • Solid waste from factories is classified, collected, and transported to centralized waste disposal sites as regulated by the local authorities.

Wastewater Treatment

    • A wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 1,300 m³/day-night is operational.

Telecommunication System

The park ensures sufficient capacity for telephone, broadband ADSL, and fiber optic cable services.

Le Mon Industrial Park mainly attracts industries such as:

    • Mechanical assembly and manufacturing of spare parts and electronic components.
    • Consumer goods production and handicrafts.
    • Textile and garment industry.
    • Food processing and agricultural products.
    • Other industrial sectors as permitted.

Le Mon Industrial Park is located in Thanh Hoa City, classified as Zone III. The current minimum wage in Zone III is VND 3,430,000/month.

  • Education: As the educational hub of the province, Thanh Hoa City has 2 universities, 2 university branches, 10 colleges, and 12 vocational schools.
