Overview

Nam Pho Yen Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister under document No. 1854/TTg-KTN dated October 8, 2009. It is an expansion of the Trung Thanh Industrial Cluster, Nam Pho Yen Industrial Cluster in Thuan Thanh Commune, and Tan Dong Industrial Cluster, as per Decision No. 88/2004/QĐ-UBND dated January 13, 2004.

Located in Trung Thanh and Thuan Thanh Communes, South Pho Yen City, Thai Nguyen Province, the park spans 200 hectares, divided into three zones:

  • Zone A (50 hectares) in Trung Thanh Commune.
  • Zone B (100 hectares) in Thuan Thanh Commune.
  • Zone C (50 hectares) developed from the Trung Thanh Industrial Cluster.

Two enterprises have invested in its infrastructure:

  • Le Trach Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd.(Taiwan) managing Zones A and C since 2007.
  • VINAXUKI Co., Ltd., managing 40 hectares of Zone B.

However, as per document No. 1258/BQL-QLĐT issued on June 29, 2021, the Thai Nguyen Industrial Zones Authority officially terminated VINAXUKI’s investment project in Zone B.

Current Status:

Nam Pho Yen Industrial Park hosts 17 projects, with 11 operational, achieving approximately 30% occupancy. Infrastructure limitations have posed challenges to attracting more investment.

Location

Nam Pho Yen Industrial Park is situated in Trung Thanh and Thuan Thanh Communes, South Pho Yen City. It is adjacent to Da Phuc Port and National Highway 3, with direct access to the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen Expressway. Its proximity to Hanoi’s Soc Son District and Noi Bai International Airport enhances its logistical appeal.

Infrastructure

Internal Roads:

    • Central roads: 36m wide.
    • Branch roads: 14m–17m wide.

Electricity Supply:

    • Power is supplied via 220kV, 110kV, and 35kV lines running near the industrial park.

Public Lighting System:

    • A separate street lighting system is installed along the park’s roads.

Water Supply:

    • Ensures sufficient quality and quantity for industrial and domestic use.

Drainage System:

    • Rainwater and wastewater are channeled into the park’s common drainage system.

Waste Treatment:

    • Industrial waste is managed by specialized service providers. Currently, the Thai Nguyen environmental sanitation plant handles this responsibility.

Wastewater Treatment:

    • A treatment plant ensures wastewater meets Type B environmental standards before discharge.

Communication System:

    • Modern cable and communication equipment ensure high-speed connectivity.

Nam Pho Yen Industrial Park is geared towards industries such as:

  • Automotive assembly and electronic mechanics.
  • Food and beverage processing.
  • Livestock and poultry slaughtering.
  • Fast food production.
  • Pharmaceuticals, medical, and veterinary equipment manufacturing.
  • Textiles, footwear, and handicrafts.
  • Precast concrete and building materials production.

Labor costs

The industrial park is located in Zone II, with a current minimum wage of VND 4,410,000/month (2025 update).

Postal Services:Providers like VNPT, DHL, and FedEx offer door-to-door delivery.
