Overview
The Pho Noi Textile Industrial Park is a specialized industrial park in the North, specifically built for textile enterprises and related supporting industries. This is the first industrial park in Hung Yen focused on garment production. Covering an area of 121.82 ha, the park is located in Yen My and My Hao districts, Hung Yen province, adjacent to the intersection of National Highways 39 and 5.
The infrastructure investor of this park is Pho Noi Textile Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company. This park is considered one of the green, clean, and beautiful industrial parks in the North with a modern wastewater treatment plant. It plays a significant role in the development plan of the textile industry in Vietnam, aligning with the vision for 2020 and promoting the relocation of textile factories from major cities to industrial parks.
The second phase of Pho Noi Textile Industrial Park B (Det May Pho Noi B) includes the construction of a housing area for 10,000 workers. This will help create a complete and integrated infrastructure, ensuring social welfare and enhancing the investment environment.
Currently, the park hosts 68 projects, with 36 foreign-invested projects and 32 domestic ones.
Location
The park is strategically located at the intersection of National Highway 5 and 39, linking key economic centers in the North, including Hanoi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Noi Bai International Airport. This location not only facilitates trade and goods transportation across the country but also attracts abundant labor from nearby regions such as Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, and especially skilled labor from Hanoi. The Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway has further reduced travel time to major transport hubs to just 20-30 minutes, enhancing the park’s appeal.
Infrastructure
Internal Roads: The main road is a 7.5m-wide dual carriageway with 8m-wide green strips on each side and a 2m-wide median. Sidewalks are 8-9m wide, and branch roads are 11.25m wide with 6m sidewalks.
Electricity System: Electricity is supplied by Hung Yen Power with a dedicated 22KV, 50Hz industrial power source.
Public Lighting: The lighting system is separate from the residential power supply and runs along the main traffic routes.
Water Supply: The industrial park has a water plant with a capacity of 8,500 m³/day, connecting to the individual companies’ fences.
Stormwater and Wastewater Drainage: The drainage system is divided into stormwater and wastewater systems. Stormwater is collected through sewers and directed to local rivers, while wastewater is treated at the industrial park’s wastewater treatment plant.
Waste Management: The park will sign service contracts with licensed waste management companies.
Wastewater Treatment: The wastewater treatment plant has a total capacity of 10,000 m³/day, using a European-standard system provided and installed by Dutch companies.
Telecommunications: The information system meets international standards and can efficiently handle both domestic and international communication services.
