Quang Tri Industrial Park – Quang Tri Province – Area: 500 hectares – Term: Until 2072
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Quang Tri Industrial Park, located in Hai Lang District, was approved by the Prime Minister of Vietnam on March 23, 2021. On April 14, 2022, the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee issued a decision establishing the park with a total planned area of 481.2 hectares. The industrial park spans Dien Sanh Town and the communes of Hai Truong and Hai Lam, with a total investment capital of VND 2,074 billion.
Phase 1 will be implemented on 100 hectares with an investment of VND 504 billion, scheduled for the 2021–2025 period.
This project is a priority under the Vietnamese Government’s strategy to promote socio-economic development in Quang Tri, positioning the province as a future economic hub along the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) connecting Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.
The project is a joint venture among three major investors:
Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP JV)
Amata Bien Hoa Urban JSC (a member of Thailand’s Amata Group)
Sumitomo Corporation (Japan)
On April 30, 2022, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the groundbreaking ceremony and witnessed the official investment decision being handed to the project’s investor, Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Co., Ltd., which is committed to starting construction in Q4/2022.
Quang Tri Industrial Park is set to become a core industrial hub, driving the development of various industries and services within the province and creating a breakthrough in Quang Tri’s economic transformation.
Location
The project is located in a prime area with direct access to key national transportation networks such as National Highway 1A, National Highway 15D, North–South Expressway, North–South Railway, and proximity to My Thuy Deep-Sea Port, and the international border gates of La Lay and Lao Bao.
Infrastructure
Internal Roads
The internal traffic system is fully developed with modern design:
Main roads: 4 lanes, 31 meters wide
Branch roads: 2 lanes, 13–16 meters wide
2-meter sidewalks accommodate underground technical corridors (electricity, water, telecom, etc.)
Power Supply
Electricity is sourced from Dong Ha 220kV Substation, with two additional substations under development.
Public Lighting
Street lighting is independently installed along all major internal roads.
Water Supply
A clean water treatment plant supplies 28,000 m³/day directly to connection points inside the industrial park.
Drainage Systems
Separate drainage systems for stormwater and wastewater:
- Rainwater is discharged into designated drainage channels
Wastewater is collected and treated in a centralized facility with a capacity of 22,000 m³/day, ensuring discharge meets national environmental standards
Solid Waste Management
Solid waste is collected at a centralized transfer station, where it is sorted and transported to designated treatment facilities.
Telecommunications
The telecom infrastructure supports up to 5,000 lines, with ready-to-use phone and data lines extended to the site boundary of each land plot.

Quang Tri Industrial Park is designed as a green-clean mixed-use industrial park, attracting industries that utilize advanced, eco-friendly technologies.
Labor Costs
Quang Tri IP is located in Hai Lang District, which belongs to Wage Region IV.
Minimum regional wage: VND 3,090,000/month.
Social Infrastructure
Customs Services: Located near clearance zones, allowing seamless handling of import/export procedures
Banking: Branches of BIDV, Agribank, Techcombank, Sacombank, etc.
Postal & Telecommunications: Full ICT infrastructure supporting voice, data, internet, and video conferencing
