Overview

Song Dinh Industrial Park is invested by the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone of Nghe An province. The detailed construction planning for Song Dinh Industrial Park was approved by the People’s Committee of Nghe An province under Decision No. 1915/QĐ-UBND.ĐT dated May 31, 2011. On the afternoon of August 18, 2011, at Minh Hop commune, the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone held a ceremony to announce the detailed construction planning of Song Dinh Industrial Park, located in Nghia Xuan and Minh Hop communes, Quy Hop district, Nghe An province.

Industrial Park Overview

Song Dinh Industrial Park covers a total area of 301.65 ha, including:

  • Industrial land: Nearly 175 ha for factory construction
  • Resettlement area: 12.47 ha
  • Social housing: 23.81 ha
  • Green spaces & water bodies: 55.59 ha (18.43% of the total area)

A Multi-Sector Industrial Park

Song Dinh Industrial Park is a large-scale, multi-sector industrial zone specializing in:

  • Agricultural, forestry, and mineral processing
  • Construction materials manufacturing
  • Mechanical assembly and engineering
  • Chemical production

Once fully developed, this industrial park is expected to drive economic growth, create employment opportunities, and optimize the utilization of Quy Hop district’s and Nghe An province’s mineral resources.

Infrastructure

Internal Transportation

Song Dinh Industrial Park is connected to National Highway 48 and Provincial Road 598. The internal road system is designed to ensure seamless connectivity between factories and the external transportation network. Roads within the park range from 12m to 42m in width.

Power Supply

The industrial park receives electricity from the 35kV Quynh Hop – Quy Chau power line. A 110/22kV – 25MVA substation will be built within the park, distributing power to factories via an underground cable network.

Public Lighting

The street lighting system is designed separately from the general power supply and is installed along the industrial park’s internal roads.

Water Supply

A water treatment plant with a capacity of 7,000 m³/day-night will be constructed. Water will be sourced from the Song Dinh River, approximately 1.2 km away, and distributed to factories through a dedicated pipeline system.

Stormwater & Wastewater Drainage

Stormwater and wastewater systems are designed separately. Rainwater will be discharged into the industrial park’s drainage system.

Waste Management

Solid waste will be collected at transfer stations, sorted at the source, and transported to treatment facilities.

Wastewater Treatment

Factories within the park must install internal wastewater treatment systems meeting Standard B before discharging into the centralized wastewater treatment plant. The centralized plant will have a capacity of 4,500 m³/day-night, ensuring treated water meets Standard A before release.

Telecommunications

The industrial park is equipped with modern telecommunication infrastructure, providing essential services such as:
