Overview

Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 6332/QĐ-UB dated December 16, 2004, by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, approving the investment project for infrastructure construction and business of the industrial park. Additionally, Decision No. 2100/QĐ-UBND dated May 8, 2009, approved the detailed planning adjustment at a scale of 1/2000 for the Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City. The total investment capital amounts to VND 2,714.135 billion.

On November 4, 2003, Saigon Northwest Urban Development Joint Stock Company officially started the construction of Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park.

The industrial park is modernly and synchronously planned, covering a total area of 542.6423 ha, of which:

  • Industrial land: 359.1597 ha, meeting the needs of investors building factories.
  • Residential area: 48 ha for housing for engineers, experts, and workers, accompanied by banking, healthcare, and shopping services.
  • Warehouse and yard area: 18.2281 ha.
  • Administrative and service area: 18.3988 ha.

Location

Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park is located in the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, with direct frontage on National Highway 22, in Tan Phu Trung Commune, Cu Chi District. It is part of the master plan of the Northwest Urban Area of Ho Chi Minh City, covering 6,000 ha, which includes an eco-urban area, an international university village, a golf course, and Xuyen A General Hospital.

The surrounding area is densely populated and rapidly developing, providing a plentiful labor force. The strategic location offers convenient connectivity:

  • National Highway 22: Part of the Trans-Asia Highway connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Cambodia.
  • National Highway 1A: One of Vietnam’s most important and longest highways, connecting major cities like Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.

    • Main roads: 45 m wide.
    • Internal roads: 25–35 m wide.
    • Roads are lined with green trees to improve air quality and reduce pollution, creating a more pleasant working environment.

Power Supply

    • Supplied by a 15 kV medium-voltage line.
    • A 500 kV high-voltage line with a length of 0.52 km crosses the park.
    • An additional 500 kV line is under construction.

    • Separate public lighting network installed along all internal roads.

Water Supply

    • Abundant clean water supplied by two clean water plants with a capacity of 3,000 m³/day-night.
    • Additional supply from Kenh Dong Water Plant with a capacity of 200,000 m³/day-night.

Wastewater and Rainwater Drainage

    • Separate systems for wastewater and rainwater drainage.
    • Rainwater drainage pipes: Diameter D600–D1500, utilizing an automatic drainage system.

Waste Management

    • Investors sign contracts with professional waste treatment units licensed according to regulations.

Wastewater Treatment

    • Wastewater treatment system meets Class A standards with a capacity of 4,000 m³/day-night (Phase 1).
    • The system ensures environmental safety and public health protection.

Telecommunications

    • Advanced telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cable, sealine, and ADSL.
    • Phone lines follow Ho Chi Minh City’s numbering system, allowing fast and reliable communication.
