General Information
Tan Tao Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 906/TTg dated November 30, 1996, by the Prime Minister, approving the investment project for infrastructure development and operation. The project was later adjusted by Decision No. 1566/QĐ-UBND dated April 1, 2013.
The infrastructure is invested and developed by Tan Tao Investment and Urban Development Corporation (Itaco). Located in Tan Tao Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, the park spans an area of 161.35 ha. Previously an underperforming agricultural area, it has now transformed into a key industrial zone that significantly contributes to the urbanization of northern Long An and the socio-economic development of suburban Ho Chi Minh City.
Economic Significance
Tan Tao Industrial Park is considered one of the most critical economic zones in southern Vietnam, attracting both domestic and international investments.
As of December 31, 2020, the park has been fully occupied, hosting 128 enterprises with 143 investment projects.

- Rainwater Drainage: Uses pipes with diameters from D600 to D1500, following automatic drainage principles.
- Wastewater Treatment Capacity: 10,500 m³/day-night, with advanced and fully integrated treatment systems connected to each enterprise.
Waste Treatment
Investors must sign contracts with licensed waste management units to ensure proper waste disposal.
Telecommunication System
The park is equipped with a telecommunication network of international standards, meeting the demands for high-speed data and communication.
