Thai Ha Industrial Park, Ha Nam Province

Thai Ha Industrial Park, Ha Nam Province. Area: 385 hectares – Term: Phase 1: Until 2069.

Khu công nghiệp (KCN) Thái Hà tỉnh Hà Nam

Overview

On November 15, 2019, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1643/QD-TTg approving the investment project for constructing and operating the infrastructure of Thai Ha Industrial Park (Phase 1). The first phase covers an area of 100 hectares, with a planned expansion to 385 hectares (as part of the Thai Ha urban area development plan for 2025). This is the first industrial park in Ly Nhan District, Ha Nam Province, developed by Thai Ha Industrial and Urban Investment Joint Stock Company.

To date, land clearance efforts have been mostly completed. Many local and foreign investors have expressed interest in establishing projects within the park. The availability of cleared land and synchronized infrastructure is crucial for attracting investors to Ha Nam Province and enhancing the standing of Thai Ha Industrial Park in the future.

Socio-Economic Development

The operations of factories within the park will significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of Ly Nhan District and surrounding areas, particularly in Bac Ly, Chan Ly, and Tran Hung Dao communes. The park will increase local budget revenues, transform agricultural lands into industrial zones, create jobs for surplus labor, and promote the shift in the labor structure toward industrialization and modernization.

Location

Thai Ha Industrial Park enjoys a prime location for transportation, situated along the strategic Ring Road 5 leading to Haiphong Port. It is near major highways, including the Ninh Binh-Hanoi and Hanoi-Haiphong-Quang Ninh expressways.

  • Distance to key locations:
    • National Highway 1A and the North-South Railway: 28 km
    • Hanoi-Ninh Binh Expressway: 28 km
    • Adjacent to Thai Ha and Hung Ha bridges connecting Ha Nam to Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, and Haiphong.

Its position near the borders of Ha Nam, Thai Binh, and Hung Yen provinces provides excellent access to road and waterway transportation networks, with close proximity to seaports. The park’s strategic location promises to attract domestic and foreign investors once its infrastructure is fully developed.
