Overview
Viet Hung Industrial Park was approved for establishment by the Prime Minister via Document No. 727/TTg-CN on May 15, 2006. The park spans a total area of 301 hectares, divided into two phases (Phase 1: 151.89 ha, Phase 2: 149.04 ha). The investor of the Industrial Park is Viet Hung Industrial Park Development JSC, under the Civil Engineering Construction Corporation No. 5 (CENCO 5). This is a high-tech industrial park focusing on eco-friendly, high-tech products. It aims to become a leading hub for innovative technologies, significantly contributing to the development of Vietnam’s high-tech industries.
In Phase 1, Viet Hung Industrial Park has attracted 10 secondary investment projects (6 FDI projects, 4 domestic projects) with a total registered capital of over VND 2,100 billion, creating jobs for 2,400 workers.
The investor is currently leveling the ground for Phase 2, with 45/149.04 ha completed to date. This is to facilitate the implementation of the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automotive Factory project by Thanh Cong Technology Complex Industrial Park JSC.
Phase 2 is expected to be fully completed by early Q2/2022, following the direction of the Provincial People’s Committee under Document No. 5056/UBND-XD6.
Location
Viet Hung Industrial Park has a strategic location on National Highway 18, close to Highways 1A, 1B, and the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway. It is situated by the Cua Luc Bay (Viet Hung Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province).
- East: Adjacent to Troi River.
- West: Connected to the Troi – Vu Oai road and National Highway 18 through the park.
- South: Neighboring land is zoned for urban development per Ha Long City’s general planning.
- North: Borders Road 328.
The park offers convenient connectivity to transportation infrastructure such as maritime, aviation, and road networks, supporting both domestic and international logistics.
Infrastructure
Internal Traffic
A modern internal traffic system is divided into main roads and branch roads, facilitating easy movement.
Electricity System
High-voltage electricity is sourced from the existing 110KV transmission line and distributed through intermediary substations to areas within the park.
Water System
Water supply is sourced from the Dong Ho Water Plant.
Wastewater and Rainwater Drainage
Separate drainage systems for rainwater and wastewater are constructed. Wastewater is pre-treated onsite to meet standards before being discharged into the park’s centralized drainage system, which leads to a centralized wastewater treatment plant.
Waste Management
Factories within the park are required to classify, collect, and transport waste outside the park to prevent environmental pollution.
Wastewater Treatment
A centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 1,800–2,000 m³/day-night ensures proper treatment to regulatory standards before discharge into the environment.
Telecommunications
The park is equipped with an underground telecommunications cable system, providing international standard services such as private exchanges, international calls, teleconferencing, leased lines, high-speed internet, and email services.

Labor costs
Located in Viet Hung Ward, Ha Long City (Zone II), the current minimum regional wage for Zone II is VND 3,920,000/month.
