General Information
Vinh Loc Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 81/QĐ-CP dated February 5, 1997, issued by the Prime Minister. The infrastructure investment was carried out by Cholimex (Cho Lon Import-Export and Investment Company).
The park covers an area of 207 ha, spread across three administrative areas:
- Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District (113.23 ha)
- Vinh Loc A Commune, Binh Chanh District (84.59 ha)
- Ba Diem Commune, Hoc Mon District (9.18 ha)
After a reduction of 3.82 ha to develop resettlement and worker accommodation areas, the park now covers 203.18 ha.
Development Timeline
- April 30, 1997: Construction officially began.
- During 1997-1998, the park faced challenges due to the Asia-Pacific economic crisis. However, with the support of the government, the city, and the Management Board of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Loc Industrial Park gradually overcame difficulties and developed into a well-established industrial area.
Location
Vinh Loc Industrial Park is located in Vinh Loc A Commune (Binh Chanh District), Ba Diem Commune (Hoc Mon District), and Binh Hung Hoa B Ward (Binh Tan District), Ho Chi Minh City. The park is strategically positioned near National Highway 1A, accessible via Nguyen Thi Tu Road, which facilitates convenient transportation and trade.
Infrastructure
Internal Roads
- Main Roads: Width ranging from 13.75 m to 30 m, with pavement widths from 7.5 m to 15 m and sidewalks from 6.25 m to 7.5 m.
- Secondary Roads: Width ranging from 11 m to 12.5 m, with pavement widths from 5 m to 6 m and sidewalks from 3 m to 3.25 m.
External Traffic Connections
- Road No. 7 Extension:
- Length: 496 m, connecting the industrial park with National Highway 1A.
- Total width: 80 m, including two 15 m lanes, 4 m median, 6 m sidewalks, and 17 m green space.
- Nguyen Thi Tu Road:
- Length: 800 m within the industrial park, connecting to National Highway 1A and Provincial Road 80.
- Total width: 40 m, with two 11 m lanes, 2 m median, and 8 m sidewalks.
- Road No. 2:
- Length: 1,210 m, linking the park with National Highway 1 and Provincial Road 13.
- Total width: 45 m, including 15 m pavement, two 2 m medians, 7 m service roads, and 6 m sidewalks.
- Road No. 7 Extension:
Power Supply
The industrial park has constructed a 2×40 MVA substation on Road No. 7, along with power distribution systems along internal roads, ensuring stable power supply for all enterprises.
Public Lighting
The street lighting system is separately designed from residential power supply, installed along all main roads.
Water Supply and Drainage
Water Supply System
- 7 pumping wells with a total capacity of 12,000 m³/day-night.
- Total pipeline length: 9,200 m, covering 60% of the entire route.
Rainwater Drainage System
- Completed length: 25,841 m of rainwater drainage lines.
Wastewater Drainage System
- Completed length: 5,171 m of wastewater drainage lines.
Wastewater Treatment
- Centralized treatment plant: Capacity of 4,500 – 6,000 m³/day-night, operational since 2008.
Waste Management
Investors are required to sign contracts with licensed waste disposal units to ensure safe and compliant waste management.
Telecommunication System
The park is equipped with a high-speed telecommunication system meeting international standards, in collaboration with VNPT and other telecom service providers.
