Overview
VSIP Industrial Park – Nghe An was planned under Decision No. 5441/QD-UBND dated November 9, 2017, by the People’s Committee of Nghe An Province. It is strategically located at KM 04, National Highway 46B, Hung Cong, Hung Nguyen District, Nghe An Province.
Overview
The VSIP Nghe An Industrial – Urban – Service Complex is situated at the western gateway of Vinh City. Officially commenced on September 16, 2015, the project spans 750 hectares, with 367 hectares designated for industrial use. This development has introduced an internationally standardized industrial, urban, and service complex to Nghe An Province and the North Central region.
The VSIP Nghe An urban area is the first in Vinh City to feature a unique and high-class landscape concept. It is also the only project in Vinh that incorporates a natural river within its internal planning, designed with elegance and sophistication.
Green and Sustainable Development – Singapore Standards in Vietnam
The VSIP Nghe An Industrial – Urban – Service Complex is planned for synchronized, eco-friendly, and sustainable development based on Singaporean standards. Integrating human, environmental, and industrial production factors, VSIP aims for a green landscape and strategic planning to establish a sustainable, environmentally friendly industrial park. These elements serve as a unique competitive advantage for VSIP in attracting global investors.
Currently, 28 customers have committed to investing in VSIP Nghe An, including 12 FDI projects and 16 domestic projects. These investments cover approximately 198 hectares, accounting for over 52% of the industrial land, with a total registered investment of around 500 million USD and the potential to create 45,000–50,000 jobs. At present, 14 projects are operational, six are under construction, and eight are in the investment approval process.
Location
VSIP Nghe An Industrial – Urban – Service Complex is located at the western gateway of Vinh City, surrounded by key transportation routes such as National Highway 1A, National Highways 46A and 46B, and the Vinh – Cua Lo Boulevard. Its proximity to seaports, land ports, and an airport significantly reduces transportation costs and time, particularly for import-export activities.

Internal Roads
- Main roads are 23 meters wide with two lanes.
- Street lighting systems are installed along all major roads.
Power Supply
- Electricity is supplied from the national grid via 110KV and 22KV transmission lines.
- A 126MVA substation distributes electricity to factories within the industrial park.
Water Supply
- A clean water plant with a designed capacity of 12,000 m³/day ensures stable water supply.
Wastewater and Rainwater Drainage
- Separate systems for rainwater and wastewater drainage.
- Rainwater is discharged into industrial park drainage canals.
Waste Management
- Solid waste is collected at a central transfer station, sorted at the source, and transported to treatment facilities.
Wastewater Treatment
- The centralized wastewater treatment plant has an initial capacity of 6,000 m³/day, expanding to 24,000 m³/day.
- The plant meets Vietnam’s Class A environmental standards.

The industrial park is equipped with modern telecommunication services, including private switchboards, international calls, video conferencing, dedicated leased lines, and high-speed internet.
