Yen Phong 2 Industrial and Urban Area was established under Decision No. 856/TTg-CN by the Prime Minister on June 28, 2007.

1. Zone A (151.27 ha): West of National Highway 3
2. Zone B (282.67 ha): Between National Highway 3 and Provincial Road 277
3. Zone C (221.06 ha): East of Provincial Road 277
