Tan Kim Industrial Park – Long An

Tan Kim Industrial Park was planned under Decision No. 34/TĐ-SXD dated July 15, 2002 by the Prime Minister, within the national master plan for industrial zones in Vietnam. It is one of the key projects prioritized for development in Long An Province.

The park is located at Tan Phuoc Hamlet, Tan Kim Commune, Can Giuoc District, Long An Province, with a total area of 104.1 ha. The infrastructure investor is Tan Kim Industrial Park and Residential Area Infrastructure Development Co., Ltd.

Tan Kim Industrial Park is considered a strategic project in the province’s development plan, designed to enhance economic integration and socio-economic development. With its favorable location, it is one of the most attractive destinations for domestic and foreign investors.

Role in Industrialization and Modernization

Thanks to its prime location, the park plays a vital role for Tan Kim Commune and Can Giuoc District. It promotes urbanization, contributes to the economic restructuring toward industrialization and modernization, and changes the spatial landscape of the region.

The development of Tan Kim Industrial Park helps Long An become one of the most important provinces in the Southern Key Economic Region adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City. It also forms a high-economic connectivity hub linking neighboring provinces such as Dong Nai, Can Tho, and Binh Duong.

Location

Tan Kim Industrial Park is situated in Tan Phuoc Hamlet, Tan Kim Commune, Can Giuoc District, Long An Province, right on National Highway 50, offering convenient access for transportation and import-export activities.

This is a major arterial route connecting the Mekong Delta provinces with Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, being close to Can Giuoc Town provides enterprises with access to a high-quality and affordable labor force.

Infrastructure

Internal Transportation

Completed internal road system with hot asphalt concrete pavement, built to Vietnamese standard H30.

Green coverage: 13.78 ha of trees and 18.93 ha of roads, creating a clean and green environment.

Power Supply

Connected to the national grid (22 kV) via the 110 kV Ben Luc and Duc Hoa transformer stations, distributed to each factory fence.

Separate public lighting system installed along main roads.

Water Supply

Clean water supplied by Hà Lan Water Supply Co., Ltd., which provides water for Can Giuoc District and Tan Kim Industrial Park.

Capacity: 4,800 m³/day-night, meeting production and domestic needs.

Drainage

Separate systems for rainwater and wastewater.

Wastewater pipelines (Ø300, Ø400) run underground along sidewalks, connected to a Ø500 main pipeline leading to the central treatment station.

Wastewater Treatment

Operated by Asia Environmental Technology Development Co., Ltd., using European USBF technology.

Capacity: 3,000 m³/day-night.

Effluent meets Type A standard (TCVN 5945-95) before discharge.

Waste Collection

Managed by Can Giuoc Urban Works Company, with designated transfer stations for collection and treatment.

Telecommunications

Supplied by VNPT Long An.

High-speed fiber optic technology, fixed-line telephone, mobile services, and ADSL internet available.
