Dong Xuyen Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 639/QD-TTg dated September 9, 1996, by the Prime Minister and approved for detailed construction planning under Decision No. 567BXD/KTQH dated October 30, 1996, by the Ministry of Construction. Dong Xuyen Industrial Park is one of the first industrial parks in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, officially put into operation in 1996. The industrial park covers a total planned area of 160.81 ha, located in Rach Dua Ward, Vung Tau City. Up to now, Dong Xuyen Industrial Park has reached a 100% occupancy rate.

Internal Transportation
The internal road system of the industrial park has a total planned length of 9.22 km, including Main Axis Road I with a width of 26 m and total length of 2,938 m; Main Axis Road II with a width of 24 m and length of 1,874 m; branch roads with a width of 22.5 m and total length of 552 m. Lighting systems are installed along the main roads.
Power Supply
Power is supplied from the intermediate 110/22KV transformer station located on Road No.1 of the industrial park. In addition, the high-voltage power grid is provided along internal roads.
Public Lighting System
The road lighting network is designed separately from the residential power supply system and installed along internal roads.
Water Supply
Clean water for production at Dong Xuyen Industrial Park is supplied from the treatment plant of Vung Tau Water Supply Joint Stock Company with a capacity of 35,000 m³/day-night.
Drainage System
The rainwater drainage system is separated from the wastewater drainage system. All rainwater is discharged into the industrial park’s drainage canal.
Solid Waste Treatment
Solid waste is collected at a transfer station, where it is sorted at the source and then transported to treatment facilities.
Wastewater Treatment
Dong Xuyen Industrial Park has a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a treatment capacity of 3,000 m³/day-night, meeting column B standards.
Telecommunication System
The modern telecommunication system provides full postal and communication services.

The investment-attracting industries of Dong Xuyen Industrial Park include:
- Oil and gas service industry: storage and transportation of petroleum products; exploitation of liquefied storage tanks; port operation; fabrication of offshore structures; repair and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment and offshore works; construction of drilling rigs and offshore supply vessels; manufacturing, repair, and service supply for drilling equipment.
- Marine service industry: supply of new ships with large tonnage; manufacturing of marine equipment; manufacturing and repairing containers; port equipment industry; ship repair; port warehouse business; other marine industrial services.
