General Introduction

Nhon Hoi A Urban – Industrial Park, Binh Dinh Province was established under Decision No. 514/QD-TTg dated May 8, 2019 of the Prime Minister approving the adjustment of the master plan of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone with a vision to 2040.

Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park is invested and developed by Saigon – Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (SNP), with a total area of 630 ha. The project is located within Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, on Phuong Mai Peninsula, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.

Nhon Hoi Industrial Park – Zone A is planned as an Urban – Industrial Park, divided into two functional zones:

Industrial Zone: 394 ha

Urban Zone: 236 ha

Nhon Hoi A Urban – Industrial Park enjoys a prime location at the center of Quy Nhon City, which is a major commercial, service, and international trading hub of the Central Key Economic Region. The park holds outstanding advantages in regional and international connectivity, being located on the North–South axis of Vietnam with full access to road, railway, aviation, and maritime transportation.

It serves as the closest and most convenient seaport gateway to the Central Highlands, Southern Laos, Northeastern Cambodia, and Thailand via Quy Nhon International Seaport and National Highways 19 and 19B. National Highway 19B is the main North–South axis of the industrial park, directly connecting provinces and Quy Nhon Seaport, fully meeting investors’ logistics and transportation demands.

Nhon Hoi A Urban – Industrial Park is strategically located near Quy Nhon City center, one of the three major commercial, service, and international transaction centers of Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands. Internal Transportation

The industrial park transportation system is connected to the national road network (National Highways 1A, 19, and 1D), railway, seaport, and airport systems.

Road surfaces are asphalt-paved with load capacity H30 – XB80.

Main roads: 45 m, 56 m, 65 m, 80 m wide

Internal roads: 29 m, 27 m, 20 m wide

Two free parking areas with a total area of 2 ha

Power Supply

Power is supplied from the national grid via a 220 kV transmission line from Phu Tai to the 220/110 kV substation with a capacity of 2 x 125 MVA at Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

A 110 kV line connects to a 110/22 kV substation with a capacity of 2 x 63 MVA located within the industrial park, with expandable capacity to meet investors’ demand.

Public Lighting System

Street lighting is designed separately from the residential power system and installed along all traffic routes.

Water Supply

Water for production and daily use is supplied through booster pumping stations at Nhon Hoi Economic Zone:

Phase 1 capacity: 24,000 m3/day

Phase 2 capacity: 64,000 m3/day

Rainwater and Wastewater Drainage

Rainwater drainage pipelines are installed along internal roads. Surface water from factories is connected directly to this system.

Solid Waste Treatment

Investors sign contracts with Quy Nhon Urban Environment Joint Stock Company for collection, transportation, and treatment of domestic solid waste. Hazardous waste is handled through contracts with Hau Sanh Trading and Environment Co., Ltd.

Wastewater Treatment

Wastewater pipelines (D300–D600) collect wastewater from investors and convey it to the Nhon Hoi Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Phase 1 capacity: 14,000 m3/day

Phase 2 capacity: 53,650 m3/day

Industrial and domestic wastewater must be treated to meet Grade B standards under QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT before discharge into the industrial park’s collection system. Investors sign wastewater treatment contracts with the Economic Zone Management Board or its authorized units.

Telecommunication System

The industrial park is equipped with an international-standard telecommunications network, providing full services such as internet, fixed-line telephone, and fax through direct contracts with service providers.

Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park is a multi-sector industrial park within the overall development of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. Target industries include:

  • Pharmaceutical, food, and high-tech industries: production of pharmaceuticals, medicinal materials, medicines; food, beverages, and food processing additives
  • Consumer goods industries: textile and garment, footwear, motorcycle and automobile assembly; agricultural, forestry, and seafood processing; plastics and glass
  • Construction and interior design industries: construction materials, interior and exterior decoration materials; wood processing, forestry export products, packaging, sports equipment, teaching equipment
  • Supporting industries: production of raw materials, components, spare parts, semi-finished products for manufacturing and assembly industries
