Overview
Gian Khau Industrial Park was established in 2009 under Decision No. 1262/QĐ-UBND dated October 23, 2009, by the People’s Committee of Ninh Binh Province and Document No. 1499/TTg-KTN dated August 18, 2014, by the Prime Minister. The industrial park covers a total area of 162 ha, spanning three communes: Gia Tan, Gia Xuan, and Gia Tran in Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh Province. The industrial park is invested in and managed by the Ninh Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company (under the Ninh Binh Industrial Park Management Board).
Gian Khau Industrial Park is a multi-industry zone, focusing on key industries such as mechanical engineering, cement, light industry, food processing, and textiles. Additionally, the park includes a housing and service area for workers spanning 22.16 ha, providing accommodations and living facilities for approximately 5,500 employees.
Location
Gian Khau Industrial Park is located along National Highway 1A, at the northern gateway of Ninh Binh Province, serving as a key transportation hub connecting Hanoi, the Red River Delta provinces, and the Northwest region. The industrial park benefits from convenient waterway transportation with two national waterway routes on the Hoang Long River and Day River. The well-developed port system in Gia Vien District further enhances logistics efficiency, making the industrial park an ideal location for industrial development.

Wastewateris collected and directed to the central wastewater treatment plant of the industrial park.

Enterprises must contractlicensed waste collection and treatment companies to manage industrial waste.
Wastewater Treatment
The industrial park’s wastewater treatment plantemploys biological treatment technology. Enterprises must pre-treat wastewater before discharging it into the centralized treatment system.

The industrial park is equipped with an international-standard telecommunications system, with fiber-optic cablesconnected directly to businesses.
