Per Decision No. 2882/QD UBND on November 9, 2021, the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue established Gilimex Industrial Park (IP), located within Phu Bai IP in Huong Thuy Town. The park covers 460.85 ha: around 49 ha in Phu Bai ward and 411.68 ha in Thuy Phu commune. Owned by Gilimex Industrial Park JSC, the infrastructure investment totals ~VND 2,614 billion.
The developer aims to position Gilimex IP as a “green, clean, advanced technology” industrial zone—with Singapore standard infrastructure—to attract modern, clean-tech manufacturers, support high value production, generate local employment, and boost the surrounding economy.

Gilimex IP sits within Phu Bai IP, Phu Bai ward, Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien Hue. It’s adjacent to Phu Bai International Airport and borders National Highway 1A and the North–South Railway, offering excellent access by road, rail, air, sea, and waterways:
