Lac Thinh Industrial Park – Hoa Binh Province. Total Area: 220 hectares – Term: Until 2072.
Lac Thinh Industrial Park (Yen Thuy) is one of the eight industrial parks in Hoa Binh Province. Initially assigned to the BTG Group in 2013 for infrastructure investment and management with millions of USD in funding, it was expected to significantly contribute to the provincial budget and labor restructuring. However, due to feasibility issues, the project faced delays, leading to resource underutilization.
Covering 220 hectares, the park is included in Vietnam’s industrial park development plan approved by the Prime Minister for the period until 2020. The detailed 1/500-scale construction plan was approved by the provincial People’s Committee, with 134.92 hectares designated for industrial use.
To date, infrastructure investment from the provincial budget has reached 157.2 billion VND, including 148.4 billion VND for land clearance and the rest for planning, bomb and mine clearance, and the installation of a 35kVA power station. Two projects—a brewery and the GREENTEX VINA garment factory—have been granted investment registration certificates.a
Lac Thinh Industrial Park spans Lac Thinh Commune, Yen Lac Commune, and Hang Tram Town in Yen Thuy District. It is located approximately 100 km from Hanoi via the Ho Chi Minh Highway.
