Established under Decision No. 1144/QD TTg on December 22, 1998, Phu Bai IP (Phases I & II) is the first major industrial hub in the region. It features fully developed infrastructure, including wastewater treatment, bonded warehouse, and onsite customs clearance facilities.
The entire Phu Bai IP spans nearly 800 ha; Phases I & II cover 196.75 ha. It benefits from strategic logistics access via National Highway 1A and the North–South Railway, facilitating regional and international integration.
Investors & Occupancy
Hosts ~40 domestic and foreign companies (USA, Denmark, Bulgaria, Japan, Korea, China, Italy…) in sectors such as textiles, woodworking, construction materials, ceramics, and beverages.
Notable investors include Hanex Hue (Korea), Baosteel Can Making Co. Ltd., Kugler International Ltd., etc.
100% land occupancy in Phases I & II, generating ~20,000 jobs.

Power Supply: Stable electricity via two 110/22 kV substations totaling 50 MVA.

Water Supply: 15,000 m³/day from Phu Bai Waterworks, piped to factory gates.
Drainage: Separate stormwater and sewer systems; rainwater flows into park canals.
Solid Waste: Collected, sorted at transfer station, then outsourced for processing.
Wastewater Treatment: Treatment plant capacity of 6,500 m³/day.
Telecommunications: International-standard telecom and postal services.
