Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park – Dong Nai Province – Total area: 309.4 ha – Duration: 2003–2053

Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park (IDICO) is part of the new Nhon Trach urban area, planned as an industrial city with a scale of 8,000 ha, including an airport, seaport, industrial zones, residential areas, and entertainment complexes – making it the industrial hub of Dong Nai Province.
Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park has been in operation since 2003, located in Long Tan & Hiep Phuoc communes, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province. The park covers a total area of 309.4 ha, with infrastructure invested by the Vietnam Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Corporation (IDICO). With the Cat Lai Bridge project approved for implementation, numerous enterprises have flocked to Nhon Trach, driving strong local economic and infrastructure growth.
Currently, Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park has reached 100% occupancy, attracting investors from multiple countries that have developed factories within the park, including: Hyosung, Jang In Furniture, Sam Hwan, Hyundai, Posco Steel Processing, Lock & Lock (Korea), Texhong Textile (Hong Kong), Sun Yad, Headway, U-Best (Taiwan), Dong Nai Nakagawa Denka (Korea – Japan), Lu Gia Mechanical & Electrical (Vietnam), among others.
Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park is located in Long Tan & Hiep Phuoc communes, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province. It lies at the center of the Southern Key Economic Zone (Ho Chi Minh City – Bien Hoa – Vung Tau), offering convenient road and waterway transport.
The site has favorable natural conditions: mild climate without storms or earthquakes, and a high soil bearing capacity (1.5–2.5 kg/cm²), reducing construction costs for factories and warehouses.

Internal Transportation
Located at the heart of the Southern Key Economic Zone, Nhon Trach 5 IP enjoys excellent road and waterway transport links. The site’s favorable climate and solid soil foundation provide cost advantages for factory construction.
Power Supply
The park is connected to the national power grid through 110/22KV substations. Inside the park, there is a 189MVA substation managed by IDICO-UDICO. In addition, the 110KV Nhon Trach 5 Substation connects to the national grid via Long Binh 220/110KV Substation, ensuring stable and high-quality electricity supply.
Lighting System
Public lighting is independently designed and installed along internal roads.
Water Supply
Factories in the park are supplied with water from Tuy Ha Groundwater Plant with a capacity of 22,000 m³/day.
Drainage
The stormwater and wastewater systems are separately designed. Stormwater is discharged directly into receiving sources, while wastewater is collected and treated at the centralized treatment plant before discharge, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
Waste Management
Solid waste is collected at transfer stations. Enterprises in the park are required to sign contracts with waste collection companies to ensure proper classification, collection, and transportation, avoiding environmental pollution.
Wastewater Treatment
The centralized wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 12,000 m³/day-night, ensuring all discharged water meets required environmental standards.
Telecommunications
The park is serviced by providers such as VNPT, FPT, and Viettel, offering full domestic and international communication services (fixed-line, mobile, fax, internet, high-speed connections).
