Phan Thiet Industrial Park Phase 2 was established under Decision No. 3296/QĐ-UBND dated December 21, 2006, by the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan Province, assigning Trung Nguyen Steel Co., Ltd. as the infrastructure investor. The detailed construction planning was approved by Decision No. 942/QĐ-UBND dated April 10, 2007.
On October 23, 2013, the Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 2614/QĐ-UBND approving the partial adjustment of the detailed planning for Phan Thiet Industrial Park Phase 2, covering a total area of 40.7 hectares. Later, on March 25, 2020, Decision No. 684/QĐ-UBND was issued to further adjust the planning.
The industrial park has now completed its technical infrastructure, achieved full occupancy, and has been in operation since 2007. It focuses on attracting foreign investors in safe, environmentally friendly industries.
Location
Phan Thiet Industrial Park Phase 2 is located at the intersection of National Highway 1A and National Highway 28, adjacent to Phan Thiet Industrial Park Phase 1, within Ham Lien Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District, and Phong Nam Commune, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.
Infrastructure
Internal Transportation
Phan Thiet Industrial Park 2 features a modern, flexible internal traffic system. The main roads have 4–6 lanes, and the branch roads have 2 lanes, ensuring smooth circulation for vehicles within the park.
Electricity System
Electricity is supplied from the national grid with a 110/22kV substation, ensuring stable and reliable power for production activities.
Public Lighting System
The road lighting network is designed independently from the main power system and is installed along all internal roads.
Water Supply System
The water supply system has a capacity of 1,600 m³/day, sourced from Phan Thiet City’s water plant, ensuring sufficient supply for all factories within the park.
Drainage System (Wastewater and Rainwater)
A complete rainwater drainage system has been built to Prevent flooding and ensure proper water flow throughout the park.
Waste Treatment
Solid waste treatment complies with state regulations, with a treatment capacity of 150–300 tons per day.
Wastewater Treatment
The wastewater treatment system meets Standard Column B – QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT, with a maximum capacity of 1,000 m³/day and a current processing rate of 600 m³/day.
Telecommunication System
The park is fully connected to the national telecommunication network, ensuring smooth and reliable communication for all investors.
