Quan Ngang Industrial Park – Quang Tri Province – Area: 321.73 hectares – Term: Until 2058
Quan Ngang Industrial Park in Quang Tri Province was established under Decision No. 17/2008/QD-UBND dated July 21, 2008, issued by the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province. The total planned area of the industrial park was initially 205 hectares, developed in two phases: Phase 1 covered 139 hectares, and Phase 2 covered 66 hectares.
In 2016, under Document No. 2095/TTg-KTN, the Prime Minister approved Phase 3 of Quan Ngang Industrial Park with an additional 116.74 hectares, increasing the total area to 321.74 hectares, as part of the national industrial park development master plan to 2020.
Infrastructure development and management are implemented by the Quang Tri Industrial Parks Authority. As part of the Southeast Quang Tri Economic Zone, Quan Ngang IP enjoys full investment incentive policies designated for economic zones.
The park is envisioned to become one of Quang Tri Province’s key industrial zones, prioritized for infrastructure investment and development by the provincial authorities.
Location
Quan Ngang Industrial Park is located in Gio Quang Commune, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province. Its borders are defined as follows:
- North: Adjacent to Gio Chau Commune
- South: Adjacent to Route 73 East
- West: Adjacent to the residential area of Gio Chau
- East: Bordered by a natural drainage stream
Infrastructure
Internal Roads
The internal traffic system is fully developed with logical design and smooth traffic flow.
Pavements of 2 meters on both sides accommodate underground technical corridors for electricity, water supply, drainage, and telecommunications.
Power Supply
Power is supplied by the 110 kV Quan Ngang substation with a capacity of 22,120 kVA. Backup power sources are available via the 110 kV E4 Dong Ha and E82 Vinh Linh substations to ensure stable power supply for all investors.
Public Lighting
The lighting network is independent from the residential electricity system and is arranged along internal roads.
Water Supply
Water is provided by Quang Tri Water Resources Management One-Member Co., Ltd., ensuring sufficient supply for industrial production.
Wastewater & Stormwater Drainage
Stormwater and wastewater systems are separated. Rainwater is discharged into the IP’s designated drainage channels.
Waste Treatment
Solid waste is collected at a transfer station, sorted at the source, and transported to an external treatment site.
Wastewater Treatment
The industrial park has launched the construction of a centralized wastewater treatment plant. Phase 1 has a capacity of 3,000 m³/day. The system is expected to thoroughly resolve environmental pollution from factories in the park.
Telecommunications
A comprehensive communications network connects directly to each land lot. Telephone lines are pre-installed, and service capacity is unrestricted.

Quan Ngang Industrial Park is a multi-sector industrial zone, mainly attracting industries such as:
- Consumer goods manufacturing
- Electronics and refrigeration equipment production
- Mechanical engineering and advanced equipment repair
- Wood processing and fine wood crafts
- Processed food, agriculture, and forestry industries

Located in Region IV, Quan Ngang IP follows the regional minimum wage of VND 3,070,000/month.
