On December 31, 2020, at the People’s Committee of Lam Son Commune, Tam Nong District, Phu Tho Province, the Management Board of Phu Tho Industrial Parks, in coordination with the provincial Department of Construction, Tam Nong District People’s Committee, Lam Son Commune People’s Committee, and Van Xuan Commune People’s Committee, announced the subdivision planning of Tam Nong Industrial Park at a scale of 1/2000.
Tam Nong Industrial Park is located in Lam Son and Van Xuan Communes, Tam Nong District, covering a planned area of 350 ha, with 269.49 ha (77%) designated for factory construction. Once operational, the industrial park is expected to drive economic growth in Tam Nong, Thanh Son, and the entire province.
The Management Board of Phu Tho Industrial Parks is currently inviting infrastructure investors for the industrial park.
The industrial park is adjacent to National Highway 32C, leading to Yen Bai and Son La, 3 km from Ho Chi Minh Road, and 12 km from Trung Ha Bridge. Its strategic location facilitates trade and cultural exchanges with key economic regions such as Hanoi and Hai Phong.
Internal traffic: The main road within the industrial park is 30.2–47.5 m wide, while branch roads are 14 m wide.
Power supply: Electricity is sourced from the 110/35/22 kV Tam Nong substation in the southern part of the industrial park. Six new substations with a total capacity of 90.35 MVA are planned.
Public lighting system: The road lighting system is designed separately from the residential power supply and installed along the road network.
Water supply: The park’s water demand is 10,960 m³/day-night. Initially, water will be sourced from a PVC D225 mm pipeline along National Highway 32C from the Phu Tho Water Supply Joint Stock Company. A water treatment plant will be constructed in later phases.
Stormwater drainage: The stormwater drainage system directs water along internal roads to channels surrounding the industrial park, discharging into regional rivers and canals.
Wastewater drainage: Wastewater is collected along road networks and directed to the industrial park’s treatment plant.
Waste treatment: Investors will sign service contracts with professional waste treatment providers.
Wastewater treatment: The industrial park’s wastewater treatment plant has a capacity of 6,960 m³/day-night. Treated water meeting Class A standards is discharged through a D600 gravity pipeline into the Red River.
Telecommunications: The park has an international-standard telecommunication network.
