The development project of VSIP I Industrial Park in Thuan An District (now Thuan An Town), Binh Duong Province, was initiated with the groundbreaking ceremony on May 14, 1996, with the attendance of former Vietnam Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet and former Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong as honorary guests representing the two governments.

VSIP I – Binh Duong has become one of the model industrial parks in Vietnam, achieving outstanding success as one of the country’s leading industrial zones. VSIP I Binh Duong has reached a 100% occupancy rate, attracting 231 projects with a total investment of approximately USD 3.2 billion.

The industrial park covers 465.27 ha of industrial land for lease and is designed with modern and fully synchronized infrastructure, including power systems, water supply, waste treatment facilities, telecommunications, and even a power generation plant.
