General Introduction
VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park (Huu Lung Industrial Park) was approved for investment in construction and infrastructure business by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai under Decision No. 501/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2023. According to Decision No. 878/QD-UBND dated June 8, 2023, the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee officially renamed Huu Lung Industrial Park to VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park.
The project is located in Ho Son and Hoa Thang communes, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province, with a total area of 599.76 ha, divided into three phases: Phase 1 – 200 ha, Phase 2 – 250 ha, and Phase 3 – 149.76 ha. The investor is Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park and Township Development Joint Stock Company (VSIP).
The land-use plan allows a maximum construction density of 70% and up to 4 floors. Functional areas include:
Administrative and service area: 6.94 ha (1.16%)
Factories and warehouses: 427.95 ha (71.35%)
Green space and water surface: 68.83 ha (11.48%)
Technical infrastructure: 9.87 ha (1.65%)
Roads and transportation: 86.16 ha (14.37%)
VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park is designed as a multi-sector industrial park focusing on clean industries, advanced technology, and environmentally friendly production. It will have comprehensive and modern infrastructure, including factories, warehouses, office buildings, internal roads, utilities, parking lots, and service zones.
This is the first large-scale industrial park investment project in Lang Son province, with a total capital of VND 6,300 billion. The province expects VSIP Lang Son to become a strong economic driver, boosting local socio-economic development. Once operational, the park is expected to create approximately 42,000 jobs.
Location
VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park is located in Ho Son and Hoa Thang communes, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province. Lang Son serves as a strategic gateway connecting Vietnam with China and ASEAN countries. It is also the starting point of major economic corridors such as the Lang Son – Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City – Moc Bai and Lang Son – Hanoi – Hai Phong – Quang Ninh national economic corridors.
When the Huu Nghi – Chi Lang Expressway (connected to Bac Giang – Lang Son Expressway) is completed, it will create a major opportunity to attract new waves of investment into Lang Son.
Infrastructure
Internal Transportation
The internal traffic system includes 2-lane internal roads and two main 4-lane roads designed for heavy vehicles.
Power Supply System
Electricity is supplied via a 22kV power grid connected to the 110kV transformer station.
Public Lighting System
A separate lighting grid is installed along all main roads, independent from the living electricity network.
Water Supply System
The water system meets both domestic and industrial needs, ensuring stable and sufficient supply for all investors.
Rainwater and Wastewater Drainage System
Rainwater drainage is designed for natural flow through roadside ditches leading to surrounding canals and rivers. Wastewater is collected along the main roads and treated at the centralized wastewater treatment plant before being discharged.
Waste Treatment
The park’s management company will sign contracts with professional waste treatment service providers.
Telecommunication System
The telecommunication network is designed according to modern international standards, supporting both domestic and international communication.
