By 2022: GRDP growth reached 8.08%, topping peer provinces; GRDP per capita was ~VND 97.7 million.

Industrial-construction-services sectors: 68.4% of GRDP; provincial rankings improved: PCI #33, PAR Index #27, PAPI #23, Digital Transformation #26 among 63 provinces.

Development Targets to 2030

Transform Quang Ngai into a fully developed, sustainable, technology-driven province with a modern administration and dynamic economy.

Elevate Quang Ngai City to urban Type I by 2030 (currently Type II).

Upgrade Duc Pho to urban Type IV by 2025; build Di Lăng town as a western regional hub; also upgrade Binh Son to town-level.

Develop two main industries: refinery and steel; promote green & high-technology industries across industrial zones.
